I have known Pẹ̀lúmi

for over 14years now, right from when we were in Secondary School, School of Science (popularly known as OSCAS). We lived together in the same room for like 4years on OAU campus during undergraduate days. I know him to be diligent, generous, friendly and God fearing. 

He carried me along when starting this relationship. I personally believe that any lady who marries him is very lucky and favoured by God. I have no doubt that this home is built on Christ. 

The purpose for which God is bringing you together shall be fulfilled in Jesus’ name. This time you both shall become better in all ramifications of life according to the scripture.

Words will fail me to tell of Olúwápẹ̀lúmi, a true friend turned brother. A prayer partner, an advisor, and strong support in the stormy weather and more, who through faith appointed a secretary while he was president of a religious group and by a well-articulated vision obtained the promise.

And of Abímbọ́lá, the appointed secretary now the appointed one; smart, elegant, gifted, and full of life.

Your union gives me joy. I witnessed the long hours of call in Adamawa and now it’s happily forever. I wish you a happy marriage; your union is blessed. Just like Pẹ̀lúmi used to lead us in prayers – ‘The Lord will order our steps’. In this new chapter of your life, the Lord has ordered your steps, you know what to do, how to do and when to do it per time and season.

Ọkùnrin àbírò, Obìnrin àbíyè. Your seeds are blessed and are taught by the Lord.

I have known Dr. Pẹ̀lúmi Olówóòkéré for 10 years and Abímbọ́lá Olówóòkéré for 6 years and the two of them have been wonderful friends. They have proven to be friends I can confide in and count on anytime. The listening ears and attention they give are desirable. The correction, rebuke, joy, laughter, the bad times we have shared, and the push to get into higher things of life from their ends gladdens my heart. In Bimbo and Pelumi, I have found true friends regardless of distance and time! Seeing Pẹ̀lúmi and Abímbọ́lá unite to put 10,000 to flight gives me so much joy. Whenever I see them, I see true love. I am sure they will do valiantly well in this marriage together, God helping them.
